A colourful streetscape in the market town of Bandon in West Cork.



This is Oliver Plunkett street in the town of Bandon – one of the original English Planter towns in Cork. Just out of sight is the Munster Arms Hotel on the left – it used to be Whites Hotel and the last photo of Michael Collins was taken here in August 1922 just before he was assassinated.
The names of other shops and establishments along this street are Brady, O’Donovan, Crowley.
