FAVOURITE PLACES IN IRELANDย
Bunratty Castle, County Clare.
Bunratty Castle is probably the most complete and best-preserved castle in Ireland. They even offer a unique dining experience – a world-famous medieval banquet!ย Check out this video of a medieval banquet in the castle to whet your appetite.
FEATURED IRISH NAMESย – The Erenagh Families
The “Erenagh” of a gaelic kingdom was a family who historically owned the lands where religious orders built abbeys –ย ย they then governed them along with the monastery’s abbot.ย Let’s have a look at some Irish Erenagh surnames – and see if you can spot your own surname among them!

IRISH CRAFT/PRODUCT WE LOVE
From its home in County Kilkenny,ย Jerpoint Glass Studioย has been creating colourful handcrafted, hand-blown glassware since 1979. They make decorative and functional pieces for your home, but my favourite piece is their “worry monk”,ย have a look here.
