Generations! Have a look at this photo – in the foreground is a stone row that was erected around 1500BC. In the top right background is a castle that was built around the 1580s. Think of the generations that these two human-made structures saw over the centuries.

The stone row – probably built for ritual purposes was already ancient when the O’Donovans decided to build the castle. Nowadays the gates you see are part of an Alpaca farm – I wonder what will be here 2000 years from now? What age are you? Bet you don’t feel so old anymore!
