Both of these places were the points of emigration and immigration for so many of our Irish ancestors. Join us as we meet some very interesting people along the way – and ask them to tell us the stories of their Irish ancestors who travelled this same route.

    I enjoyed hearing of your visit to Ellis Island.Both of my parents come through there in the early 1900’sMy mother ,Bridget McHale,age 18 from co.Mayo arrived in 1913;and my father,Peter Gannon age 26.,from co.Galway who arrived in 1923. They went into New York City,met and married in 1926 and raised their family there.
